By accessing or using unawkward (“the Service”), operated by unawkward (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Unawkward is a web application that uses AI to help users practice social conversations. The Service generates simulated conversation trees and provides AI-powered practice sessions. The AI responses are generated content and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the AI systems
• Upload content that is harmful, threatening, or harassing
• Share your account credentials with others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the AI models or prompts

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google) to generate conversation content. AI responses are simulated and may not accurately represent how a real person would respond. We are not responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, or outcomes of AI-generated content. Do not use AI-generated responses as a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, psychological, etc.).

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (scenario descriptions, practice messages). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content through AI providers for the purpose of delivering the Service. We may anonymize and aggregate usage data for service improvement.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your scenarios, practice sessions, and personal data will be permanently removed.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
