IOS · IN BETA

If you are on the beta
The fastest route is TestFlight itself: take a screenshot inside the app and share it, and the report arrives with the build number and your device already attached. Anything longer than a sentence is better by email.
The two most useful things you can send are coaching that reads like it would fit anybody's rehearsal, and any line the app suggests that you would never actually say out loud. Both are the product failing at the thing it exists to do, and both are hard to find without you.
The microphone
Unawkward is meant to be spoken. If you declined the microphone, iOS will not ask twice, so it has to be turned back on in the Settings app under Unawkward. The rehearsal still works by typing in the meantime, and nothing about the conversation changes.
The calendar
Calendar access is optional and the app is fully usable without it. If you allow it, your week appears under Conversations and meetings worth rehearsing are picked out. You can stop that at any time with "Suggest hard meetings" in Settings, which also throws away what was already worked out. Revoking access entirely does the same.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are managed in the Settings app on your device under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running. Everything you have already rehearsed stays readable either way.
If you have paid and the app does not know it, "Restore purchases" on the paywall asks Apple again. That fixes almost every case, including a new phone.
Your rehearsals
They are stored on your device and in your own iCloud, not on our servers. Deleting a conversation in the app removes it, and deleting the app removes the lot. What is sent while you rehearse, and what is never sent, is set out on the privacy page.
Something is wrong
If a rehearsal will not start, the usual cause is a connection: the other person's replies are generated, so the app needs one. If it keeps happening, email the address above with roughly when it was and what you were trying to do. There is no account, so there is nothing for us to look up: what you tell us is what we have.
